KAISER PERMANENTE LICENSES ONTYX TDE SOFTWARE
December 10, 1997 – Kaiser
Permanente has licensed Ontyx's Terminology Development Environment
(TDE) software. The initial term of the license is three years. Kaiser
is using the Ontyx tools in the development and maintenance of its
National Clinical Information System (NCIS).
Kaiser Permanente is the nation's largest non-profit health plan,
serving 9 million members in 19 states and the District of Columbia.
KP has approximately 15,000 physicians and 100,000 employees.
