CT. The company was created
in September, 1999 through the merger of Lexical Technology and Ontyx.

of American Pathologists' SNOMED RT and CT®, the Veteran's Health
Affairs National Drug File, and the forthcoming
revision of the American Medical Association's Physicians' Current
Procedural
Terminology (CPT). Apelon products and services
have also assisted in the integration and deployment of standardized
terminology for
healthcare organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Eclipsys
Corporation, NextGen, Oracle and Philips Medical Systems; and
biotech companies
such as Ardais, Celera Genomics, and Deltagen.
