In broad terms our support services fall into two categories: subscription services to manage terminology updates and revisions, and telephone-based professional support for the installation, management, and use of terminology-related open source software

Apelon Consulting Services provide unique expertise and unparalleled experience in terminology development, maintenance and deployment. Our consultants leverage the industry’s software to help manage and utilize national standards and in-house terminologies. Apelon services include terminology training, mapping, data modeling, and software customization.  We are especially noted for our interoperability work, providing synergistic integration of disparate data sets.

In Apelon’s earlier years we built and licensed a lot of proprietary software. We still license some software because sometimes those solutions are less expensive or otherwise make more sense for a particular situation.
